     @RepShontelBrown Please tell all of your colleagues in government to leave X/twitter and close any official accounts on it. We need official government accounts on Mastodon. Those using Threads, such as the White House, are not truly federated with the Fediverse. Sure, people whose servers don't block Threads can see those accounts and even follow them, but on Threads the account holders don't see any comments or engagement from Mastodon.
