     @lucy the app is just more beautiful and flows nicely, UI is good.
     
     Also the recommendation algorithm is good.
     
     Also it has great support for media, it basically has a Instagram reels feature where you open some vid then scroll
     
     They just added the option to disable numbers on the UI and use left and right swipe gestures that you can map to actions.

     bloat has support for flouride mode which just puts JavaScripty elements in some parts of the page where it is convenient, never seen a feature for auto scrolling timeline though unfortunately. Neither in the fse build nor original bloat

     @lucy @asa I never liked #PleromaFE but #BloatFE ain't bad. I think I would have used it for a stretch if it supported automatic reloading timelines.

     @realcaseyrollins @asa i like neither of these. i really like the old pleroma-fe we use at netzsphaere, also bloatfe is nice. i have an alt account on mia's iceshrimp instance which is usable but looks very modern too sadly.

     idk about the app now but it was terrible a few years back and the webinterface is somehow worse now, looks very modern.

     that's terrible. tiktok brainrot should have stayed in its containment chamber.

     i don't like using gestures and ig with a simple custom css you could get rid of the numbers if you so wish idk.
