when might there be a @kagihq low-cost tier for recipients of public assistance like SNAP, Medicaid, etc?

Kagi HQ (kagihq@mastodon.social)'s status on Thursday, 21-Nov-2024 11:58:34 JST Kagi HQ @deutrino We try our best to keep costs accessible and fair, and discounts are difficult at our current rate (~34.5K members) while remaining sustainable. Since Kagi has no ads or VC funding to subsidize the cost, that means that existing Kagi users would have to pay for other users to receive discounts. That mechanism already exists through the 'Gift Kagi' feature.
With any formalized discounts, it's currently not possible because we're not making sufficient profit to discount it off from.
