   @fernand0 @steeznson If you configure kernel for your hardware, it will be compace and compile very quickly.
   I don't use Gentoo because they have python in their build system. I killed that abomination on my own distribution. there was a C|C+++ installer for Gentoo before, but I'm not sure it's supported.

     @fernand0 Great article but I'd heartily recommend every linux user try installing gentoo themselves at least once. It's easier than ever these days with the precompiled packages like the kernel, firefox and rust which used to take a very long time on old hardware. (Kernel also required a lot of configuration to match your hardware.)
