We just had a whole election testing the theory that Democrats could win over "moderate" white conservative voters with someone as abhorrent as Trump as the alternative and it turns out those people like Trump just fine and want to continue voting for Republicans.
I'm so glad we didn't nuke the country and a bunch of people's human rights just to test this stupid ass, obviously wrong theory.
