     @Skepticat If politicians truly cared about "Saving Democracy" they would have done a whole lot more in response to Jan 6th and they would have done so more quickly.

     @CoachMark it wouldn't have mattered. The dumbing down fuckery in the south and Midwest has already taken hold. Most of the people I know and have known through the years seem to be racist idiots concerned with alternative facts.
     And the media... <sigh> it all started many years ago with Rush Limbaugh and the Rednecks loved him. True Confederates.
