The Democratic Party has been collecting donations and preparing for electing a new chair to lead the party

After being called out for blaming voters, they are now avoiding strategies that have won: pretending to be socialist, offering universal healthcare

Instead, of course, they publicly miscalculate the results; so tired of partial vote counts on choices selected by oligarchs- it being treated as if it at all insightful/useful is absurd

Soo, DNC still on rails towards neo-conservatism

@ekis it's been clear for decades that one of the two parties needs to collapse and phase out, like what happened to the whigs and the federalists. i just hoped we'd have been able to kill the GOP *instead*... and this is assuming we even GET to be a democracy after this. Perhaps the democrat party does actually need to wither away :\

I point this out to illustrate the full cycle of electroralism in the US, how it pays the same people to make the same mistakes.

And its all transparent, and we can clearly see how it fails to achieve anything, election after election, as the water literally rises

So, its objectively delusional to look forward 4 years for now, and think we can vote for a solution to total ecological collapse

If are not in a union, think about how you can organize, and create a new one, or replace a broken one

@CycloneDusk Oh, I'm aware, I had these feelings written up, waiting for the election, when I could speak freely

I expect most people who follow me are already on-board with what I'm saying

If they are not, well those few are getting introduced to it

But most importantly, I've been getting new followers across all platforms rapidly, and I want to filter them out for people, so the remaining people even if they disagree, are capable of intelligent discussion, or mature enough to avoid arguing

@Stitched Four years from now, if we continue pace to escalating these wars, I find it depressing to think about, and I think its practically impossible to predict what will happen by then

@ekis I am not holding my breath that, in 4 years, there will be another US election. We will have to see if that will be the case. There will absolutely be Climate Consequences, however.

@spujb @CycloneDusk Not 100% sure about all of the details

The DNC forces potential candidates running for office to use proprietary election software; and its almost certainly very expensive + not open-source

In addition, the database of voter information is also leased to the candidates.

Soo, if you were curious why giving 5$ to Sanders resulted in donation solicitations for every campaign

Developing open-source alternative for progressive candidates may be a substantial broader strategy

Many of the election post-mortems have been downright absurd and a blatant attempt to continue to distract from the base's real issues. They refuse to get it. They lost miserably TO TRUMP and they still refuse to get it.

What can you do with a party like that? As you say, Nothing!

I'm kinda surprised there wasn't more accusations of Iran/Russian/China tampering with our elections, since it felt so much political energy was channeled into that emotional sink

My guess, its because any such allegation would put a massive spotlight on long-term election manipulation the most effective lobbying group: AIPAC

They paid the Democratic Party to take the genocide denial stance that lost them the election

The Democratic Party overpaid consultants conclusion has been basically: The Republicans won by being republicans, so we need to use their platform to win, since that clearly wins

They are pretending to be stupid, but I just don't believe them, I think they are cynical sociopaths who believe in quite literally nothing

This failure to understand the utility of models, failing to understand that past performance does not predict future outcomes

      Help? Yes

But all models are inherently flawed

@ekis This reminds me that one of the consultants, that in an interview blamed the loss on “woke” was a republican low-level organizer or small-time anchor for a republican organization.

(Just don't quote me on that, I can't remember the name or where I heard it. Wisecrack stream, perhaps?)

DNC won't hold or gain power while there clearly is no plan

We all know: DNC has the executive

Yet, DNC strategy is post until Jan 6: To raise money and NOT think about Biden

A campaign collapsing as a result of one debate, forces you to confront how US power is actually distributed

      Really gives up the game:

Biden is a banner for DNC operatives, consultants, and large donors to:
      1. Advance their own goals
      2. Absorb blame so their careers survive repeated failure

DNC lies are transparent, their goal was to engage in war and genocide under the Biden banner, to exploit the vulnerability of "vote blue no matter who"

DNC leadership power is maintained by lobby groups, and strategies like enforcing use of expensive campaign software, and leasing voter information to candidates

With this identified, reveals that a simple leak DNC campaign software and the leased voter information databases, would be a massive blow to their ability to maintain power

Identifying what lets DNC leadership maintain power reveals their vulnerabilities

There are other pressure points like these that can and should be identified
