    Time for sleep

Brain: remember Street Hawk... when it went into hyper thrust that was way too fast. Not only could the vehicle not realistically achieve those speeds, it would be impossible to control. Let's just have a quick look.... ok so it says 300 but in this clip we clearly see the speed exceeding 320mph but at that rate of acceleration, it would continue to rise beyond 400mph, maybe even 500mph. We should find out how many mach that is... interesting, so mach 1 is actually 767mph. What's the fastest jet - mach 9.3 or 7366mph. Ok maybe Street Hawk could be real then. Fine. I still don't think it's practical on a motorbike though. What do you mean, 'sleep'? Surely we now have to check out the various boost speeds of Knight Rider and Airwolf!....

@jstevenyork @TheBreadmonkey Random Airwolf fact is that the character named Caitlin was named after… me. My mom’s cousin was a writer on the show and wanted a name what was not (yet) very common. I was 6 when the show came out. The most meta moment was when I met a man who told me his daughter was named after a character in a rad show from the ‘80s which I was probably too young to know about… best mic drop ever to inform him that by proxy his daughter was named after me.

Airwolf could definitely go supersonic. Online sources claim mach 2, but I didn't think it was quite that fast. My late dad was a Bell Helicopter field service rep on the Bell 222 (the then new helicopter they dressed up for the show). He actually visited the set to consult. He was bored and cared nothing about Hollywood or celebrity, and so brought us NO souvenirs! I don't think he even took pictures!
