     I never much got into the sport but Grandpa liked watching boxing matches...

     he would drink exactly ONE beer

     ... so that's what we ALL watched on Friday nights on a black & white flickering TV screen with a fluctuating signal from WOAI* in San Antonio, about 60 miles away.

     *It was the first TV station in the city and went on the air just a few years before I was born.

     The old school black and white film gave everything that beautiful grainy texture too. I love classic B&W photography.
