   #WritersCoffeeClub 11/18—What have you written most different from your usual work?

   Everything? I try not to write the same novel twice, and I mix elements of different genres. (My last novel was a Lovecraftian horror regency romance time travel crime novel; the next is a sarcastic LitRPG commentary on the 1980s Satanic D&D Panic: the next but two is an anti-transhumanist space opera in collision with the great American academic literary novel).

   But for sheer weirdness, try Palimpsest.

     #WritersCoffeeClub PS: In my hurry I forgot: while these days I write science fiction novels, I have in previous decades been a working computer journalist and also a technical author (all of these for multi-year periods as my primary employment). So: fiction/non-fiction, does it get much more diverse than that?
