Within a few minutes of using bsky today I was harassed. This is my experience on EVERY platform. Every single one. When you are extolling the virtues of a particular platform, your experiences only apply to people with privilege.
(I’m fine; I am arrogant enough that it does not bother me!)

At a certain point I just have to wonder: How do they find harassment targets so fast? Do they not do anything else with their lives?? Are they just…like…cyborg trolls living in underground vats who do not eat or sleep, but just search for harassment targets through the internet cables that go directly into their brains?

they do things like flood social media discussions with divisive content and fan the flames of societal discontent. they exploit problems that were already there to wedge us apart even further
