   Compling ncurses with -fno-unwind-tables results in a static ncdu binary that's twice as large and crashes with "Illegal instruction".

     GNU software like GNU ncurses only wants and deserves to be compiled with a compiler that respects the freedom of all of its users.
     
     (My system is free of clang).
