    I told y'all this Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight was silly, and dangerous for both men.

    But if you want to see Jake get knocked out? Not just lose, but knocked out? Encourage him to take the Beterbiev fight.

    I'm not debating this with anyone.

    Beterbiev won't play with Jake for money. KO.

    Beterbiev is what Jake Paul wants to be: a wrestler of a boxer, who uses his incredibly strong back and core to generate power in his overhand right.

      Except Beterbiev has more than one power punch, has better defense, better cardio, and is a shredded light heavyweight, not a roided up puffy one.

      Jake Paul should have to take this fight. This is his Rocky moment! The late bloomer gets a shot at a world title! And he always has a puncher's chance! If Jake lands his overhand right on Beterbiev, then Beterbiev is knocked out and Jake Paul is champ!

      But he won't land it.

      Obligatory:
      I am not glorifying boxing, and I'm certainly not glorifying Jake Paul.

      Boxing is a silly sport, because even when you win, you lose.

      @mekkaokereke I feel no sorrow for Jake or Logan Paul's decisions. These guys aren't clinging to boxing as the only way out of a broken racist system. They're just chasing fame and money however they can, and I have no problem with whatever consequences befall them.

      @mekkaokereke since you're connected to sports and risk, do you have any opinions on wrestling? I did some reading before letting #Ben (16) participate, and while it isn't risk-free, it seems less dangerous than football, soccer, hockey. I told Ben he gets one concussion, and then he's done. I'm more concerned that he's going to have to go on a cut to stay weight-eligible. (He has to stay under 285lbs to wrestle, and he's 270 now.)

      @heathborders

      Wrestling is much safer from a CTE perspective. Concussions can happen, but aren't that common.

      The weight cut is less dangerous at higher bodyweight, so as long as he isn't trying to lose too much in the 24, 48 hrs before a match he should be OK.

      The biggest risk is that Wrestling is a good physical base for MMA. So he may end up getting punched in the face anyway. 🤷🏿♂️

      @mekkaokereke regarding his bodyweight, he never tried to gain, it just happened, and he got into lifting bc he was big already. I've told him he'll probably need to address weight once he stops growing. We'll talk to his doctor at his physical and see what they say. He works out a lot and still runs a 33m 5K. I feel like as long as he keeps in good cardio shape he's ok as a teen. I don't want him to worry about weight until he's full grown. I kept growing until I age 20.
