   It feels like some folks think democracy amounts to doing whatever the majority of those who voted in an election want. That’s not democracy. That’s tyranny of the majority.

   If your society votes to start eating babies, you don’t start eating babies. You protect your babies with your life and you fight tooth and nail until you rid your society of baby eaters so you don’t end up as a nation of cannibals.

     2. You don’t do anything because the decision of whether or not to abort a fetus belongs to the person whose body the fetus is in
