   Still complaining why feature X isn't available in Mastodon and that development is too slow?

   Why not put your money where your mouth is and donate to the development? You can do a single donation or join their Patreon.

   While you're on it, why not donate to your local instance? Running a server ain't free, even for me who's running a small personal instance from my garage.

   Found bugs or have feature requests? Hit the dev team up on GitHub! Developer? Contribute code!

     @thanius One issue there is that some of the desperately needed features (or in some cases near on bug fix suggestions) have been declined for hazy to illogical reasons, so no matter how much cash I throw at masto devs they won't be implemented cause they just don't wanna.

     @Mabande Being a developer, I know projects may have several priorities and not all can be implemented all at once. Usually it comes down to available time and resources, where "low hanging fruits" are usually picked for implementation for current sprints or rc's. With that said, I wished project leaders could prioritize better though.
     In my experience, they usually pick this priority:
     Security > Severe bug fixes > Planned features > UX > Bug/quirk fixes > Backlog

     I think UX should be 2nd place
