     slash pages like /now, /uses, etc?
     why not a /meet page where I say “on this day I’ll be at this concert, this conference, this event. come say hello if you’re there too!”

     @sarajw I see your point! As it’s voluntary and public, I completely understand not using it in such situations. But I’m thinking that when I go on tech conferences, I may like to check on the pages of people I follow* on the web to see if they’ll be there too :)

     @joachim sounds great if everyone on the internet is safe, you have no stalkers and will never be doxxed.

     I try not to broadcast when the house is likely to be empty either, not that people know my address (hopefully they don't anyway), but still.

     @sarajw i dont want people to think “who’s that strange guy who’s asking me if ill be at the event”

     (I guess I meant “people i follow” like “not really friends so I don’t have their email address but you know i think we could have a topic or two to discuss about if i meet him irl”)
