   It's the Kaze no Tō (風の塔, "the tower of wind") which provides ventilation to the undersea section of the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line expressway. It also serves as an evacuation area for motorists if a major accident/fire occurs in the tunnels.

     @joejoetom huh I vaguely remember something like that - looked up pics - took this on our brief 2016 trip
     Lens Search says it's some kind of wind tower onisland

     Anyone have any idea what this is? It's in the sea, roughly southeast of #HanedaAirport.
