kaia (kaia@brotka.st)'s status on Tuesday, 12-Nov-2024 07:23:49 JST kaia are you a bookmark slut like me and bookmark thousands of things to never look at them again? Firefox and derivatives track how often you visited a link in the Bookmark Library. just add the column. I'm too weak to delete the links I never visited, but maybe you are stronger. - Haelwenn /элвэн/ :triskell:, iced depresso and mangeurdenuage :gnu: :trisquel: :gondola_head: 🌿 :abeshinzo: :ignucius: like this.

kaia (kaia@brotka.st)'s status on Tuesday, 12-Nov-2024 07:33:21 JST kaia @bartholin I had a FF extension for that previously that checked the response codes of each link and removed those that did not return 200. I was unsure about the extension's safety though, so I got rid of it -

iced depresso (icedquinn@blob.cat)'s status on Tuesday, 12-Nov-2024 07:50:35 JST iced depresso @m0xee @kaia i haven't peered in to the history browser to often in a long time.
there was a time or two i resolved to clean it up, and it was just sad. lot of the bookmarks were videos since deleted, or foss projects that turned out to be failed VC runs -

Exactly! And this is how I find those that I no longer want — something weird comes up as a suggestion.
Whether the bookmark is old or rarely used — I don't care, if I bookmarked it, I might still want to get back to it some time — and finding it in the bookmarks is still easier than going five months back in history. Also, I might be weird^W among the few who use tags for bookmarks in Firefox — tags work even if you don't organise them in hierarchy, makes navigation easier.Haelwenn /элвэн/ :triskell: likes this. -
