   We make fun of Americans a lot for not using metric system but we forget sometimes that Europeans using comma(,) and point(.) complete opposite of how rest of the world uses them in numbers is also pretty weird.

     @astro_ray Use of comma and period in writing numbers is geographically complicated so I need to remind the difference in an unexpected occasion...
     Though it is rather consistent and reasonable compared to the mixed-ary unit systems IMHO

Temperature of the weather: metric, temperature of human body: imperial. Height of a person: 5'11, distance between two places: 2 Km etc... It's crazy.
