   i would absolutely embrace communism if there were like, a couple communist service providers in my area to choose between on a monthly subscription basis, and they would all adhere to a basic set of humanist rules enforced by an impartial power of sorts, and they had some kind of incentive to do good work.

     @lritter all these hierarchical political systems are ultimately gamed by bad actors, the only solution is pure chaos where our leaders for a given term are completely randomised. You’d also get free reality TV shows out of it

     @sinbad sounds absurd, but we do randomized sampling a lot in computing and it yields results.

     @sinbad but even this is gameable unless the sampling was done uniformly, because a bad actor can just try to get as many lottery tickets as possible. you could found clubs that make promises to its members should anyone of the group get elected, basically, just a larger scale "party line" implementation
