Some people it's preserving the old Mosaic browser, but it's
propietary. I compiled the old Arena browser for #Motif,
and it's working fine for basic HTML3? sites and #gopher,
but I coudn't set the X Resources' settings right.

@anthk Not knowing Arena, how are you setting the X resources? There are some conflicting ways to set it, besides a few places saying you need to run xrdb, which is not always true (and has the effect of making you need to run xrdb afterwards in the same X11 session). Just putting in $HOME/.Xdefaults ought to work, unless it's one of these situations where xrdb is needed. This seems to explain the different ways much better:

@njsg I already set them up, but Arenq doesn't get the resources sonehow. Yes, I know about Xresources/Xdefaults.

If you want to play with the sources:
The binary is built for GNU/Linux-i686,
but you can head to
arena-last/WWW/Arena/
and just run make with the X11 devel
libraries installed. Or run ../BUILD
with tcsh/csh installed.
