Any analysis that doesn't start with "she was not elected predominately because of racism and sexism" (and/or because of the "adoption of fascism") is… probably contributing to the racist and sexist narratives.
We can talk about why that is the case and what to do about it, but that's the starting point for the analysis.

@hrefna something that hadn’t occurred to me until just now: the racism and sexism were surely factors in the Democrats’ prolonged resistance to Biden stepping down from the race. “Better to run with old and feeble than black and female.”
