  You also have the incredibly white view that rootedness in the land is entirely blood and soil when Judaism itself is the preserved aboriginal religion of Palestine and part of Judaism is reverence for Eretz Israel.

Call it "Zionist" and therefore "bad" if you like, you wouldn't deny any other people the right to self identify what peoplehood in their group means.

  This idea that Judaism is an "ethnoreligion" is straight up enabling Jewish mythology and Zionism. They believe that anyone who converts is magically just a Jew who lost their way and came back.

  I think traits are heritable, yes. It is not a "Jew gene" but a set of genes constituting a genetic framework for things like Jewish culture and religion.

And sure, converts are not indigenous to the Levant, but they practice the religion of the indigenous population (Jews) and are therefore accepted as part of the Jewish peoplehood.
