#WritersCoffeeClub 8. Where do you get your books?
I buy quite a few through the Kobo store, as that's the format of my ebook reader, although I either get DRM-free books or remove DRM where possible
I also buy ebooks directly from publishers including Verso, Tor, Queen of Swords press (shoutout to @Clundoff), the Lovecraft eZine (who also publish me), directly from authors on platforms like Itch and Smashwords, via Humble bundles and so on.
Additionally, I subscribe to @InterzoneMag, which distributes digital editions via Pateon.
For physical books, I live in a very rural area, so I do end up buying from big evils like Fnac and Amazon (the latter's the only place to easily get a lot of English language stuff here), and I get manga from the local supermarket.
Second hand books mostly come from Momox or Rarewaves, or local second hand shops. RPG books from from Philibert. Indie stuff via author's POD Lulu shops.
The nearest independent book shop is a 45 minute drive away and doesn't stock anything I like, but I've at times bought stuff from https://www.librairiesindependantes.com/ - the distance selling tax on physical books has really chilled the practicality of ordering odd books here and there.
I also use my local library, but this is a small village and my tastes lean exotic.
