   I agree with this meme generally but i think the statement "treat sickness with food and herbs" is wildly simplistic.
   
   I would argue that eating a proper diet (something that looks a lot like keto or carnivore) simply eliminates all of the modern diseases like obesity, type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart attacks, PCOS, dental caries, etc. etc.
   
   But there are, for example, infectious diseases, that may very well require medicine or vaccines. I'm hella skeptical of "herbs?"

     Yes. We shouldn't forsake all of the technological achievements of the past century and a half, just because 70% of the US population became unpaid clinical trial participants. If we were eating real food and factoring medicinal herbs into our food preparation, I agree many of our "health problems" would subside by themselves.
     
     Remaining issues would be communicable diseases (primarily solved by waste disposal/water treatment, but things like the flu still exist), and wound care.
