@PhoenixSerenity exactly. The victims don't have to accept an apology. The work has to come from the entity that did harm, and demanding forgiveness is continued abuse

Ms. Que Banh (phoenixserenity@beige.party)'s status on Thursday, 07-Nov-2024 21:42:38 JST Ms. Que Banh Only inhumane & out of touch with war survivors folks would ever try to dictate when & how we, the actual war survivors, should forgive the people who mass murdered our family members. None of the people in North America who are OK with that, have suffered mass murders from foreign invaders/occupiers before & they should cease trying to tell us POC how/when or even IF - we would ever forgive.
How do you forgive mass murderers - when they've never stopped mass murdering others - after slaughtering many of your family members & laughing about it? Do not dare to tell us, the survivors of such atrocities, to forgive the people responsible. Tell your mass murderers to fully repent, first. Your 'heroes' are mass murderers of my family.
