     @mekkaokereke I threw a big donation at the local trans* support group this morning

     they're ramping up a program to support trans/queer immigrants and asylum seekers, so I'm hoping this is the place my money will be most effective

     @mekkaokereke @polotek Unless you're disabled or unhoused or mentally ill. We leave those folks by the wayside in peacetime and scapegoat them in wartime.

     If we actually took care of us we wouldn't have healthcare workers refusing to mask on cancer wards and people agreeing with mask bans. The governor of California wouldn't think it was a great photo op to roll up his sleeves to toss tents into the trash.

     I hear this from many but where's the solidarity?
