   @Nichelle I agree, we shouldn't demonize but if we truly want to save our democracy and protect human rights and ourselves it is worthwhile to consider what happened here. This wasn't a win because his policies were better, or he's stunningly charming. Trump won because a lot of Americans recoiled from having. A black woman president. The sexism and racism in our country is deep and focusing on demographics is the first way some people are grappling with what they hoped would be impossible.

     White supremacy did this. Period. This is white supremacy. Whether it's white supremacist oligarchs here or in Russia or white supremacists at MAGA rallies the problem is the white supremacy.

     Now, that white supremacy has turned into fascism but it's still white supremacy.

     It's our nation's original sin. It MUST be stopped or this will happen again.
