   The only thing that baffles me about the election is how consistently the people on MSNBC, esp. Rachel Maddow, Symone Sanders, Chris Hayes, could talk themselves into such a frenzy, only seeing what they wanted to see.

     @simsa03 Admittedly, I tried to block out most election-related information, but I still had the impression the election would be very close ... and that Democrats would control at least one house of Congress regardless of who won the White House.
     
     It looks like the information I did encounter was mostly wrong.

     I had the same feeling but conservative guests on CNN had pointed out erroneous polling, the underestimation of T support and over-emphasis of Harris support for quite some time.
     
     Until yesterday afternoon (local time) I thought that things could switch either way but already during my evening shift in the restaurant I braced myself for sadness and despair. Today my heart aches, literally. Difficult times to come.
