   @schratze @bright_helpings I’m generally fine with sinks.

   But I’m engaged in a blood feud with hotel showers and the people who design them.

   A shower should be easy to operate safely for a sleepy human. It should provide water, on demand, at a predictable temperature.

   Fancy controls with obscure functionality have no place here.

     @bright_helpings right!! This faucet I'm dealing with is side-mounted with no markings and it took me a minute to figure out what's hot and what's cold.

     Also you have to turn it back to the middle so that it doesn't leak even when closed, but that's a different can of worms
