     @dermoth @jbaggs My home router is running Debian with an nftables ruleset I wrote from scratch. I don't really want to fight with OpenWRT to make it do what I want.

     @ryanc @jbaggs Try OpenWRT, you probably don't need the full power of Raspbian.

     Mine is now a VPN appliance that connects to my home router over Wi-Fi and bridges it at L2 to the Ethernet port. Works like a charm.

     My home router obviously also runs OpenWRT.
