It is the sad reality, if an kernel would like atleast some serious users.
In an ideal world, that would be perfect - but most likely they will end up like GNU/Hurd :(

I really want to like BSD, Redox and all the other kernels...but no copyleft means it's up for grabs. Linux is already suffering from the unfree drivers (possibly would've been avoided by switching to GPLv3, if it was feasible)
