     The lore is that he was a pet of a guy in NY but some asshole complained to the cops on him so they took Peanut and Fred their raccoon and euthanized them

     woman reported them for "exploiting" it
     authorities confiscate it
     euthanize it two days later (no particular reas)
     shouldve just let them have the squirrel
