     Yeah, even Kautsky, in his extremely inadequate views of imperialism as something that can be reformed away, realized that imperialism is capitalism in decay.

     @Radical_EgoCom even kautsky fervently avoided any attempt to defend it. His arguments largely at the precipice of having to admit the entire idea was untenable.
