I’ve taken apart our robot vacuum, a Roborock S6, and replaced the cliff sensors.
Now I’m left with one cable that won’t connect to anything, and a device that throws an error and refuses to operate.
Been staring at the little fucker for an hour, can’t find a solution 🫤

@slothrop so it seems best to just cut the bloody wire and install linux on it. Might do the trick.

@jpmens Ok, so the black wire is ground. Will it boot Debian if I use the yellow one for the even bits, and the red one for the odds?

@slothrop Does the cable attach to something in the lid? an LED or switch or something?

Unfortunately I’ve already thrown out the original part; I should have compared where all the wires went.
This little problem aside, the device is actually fun to take apart! Super modular, easy to disassemble.
