@beardalaxy They're called intrusive thoughts because they're usually something you very much don't want to do. They're distinct from impulsive thoughts. Here's a good reference.

It's not like someone or some other force is planting them in my brain. They're coming from my brain, how can they be intrusive? Sometimes I have weird things I think of but they're not intrusive and I always know the reason for them being there. Do people really have that??
