     @creamqueen Skill issue - you clearly need to install GNU as well to get something displayed and many free software games will work in a framebuffer.
     
     There is the free nouveau driver, that supports 3d accel on most nvidia GPUs even without proprietary software.

     @creamqueen Yes, you can surrender your freedom, or you can just install free software games on LiGNUx and then they just run (the benefit of no digital handcuffs and no antifeatures).
