     I’m slowly starting to realize that a big part of why I haven’t wanted to date for *years* is because suffering for so long under Compulsory Heterosexuality left me with trauma around financial independence, so maybe if I have a house of my own…

     Also the dating pool has to be better where I’m going because it can’t possibly be worse.

     (My agent-slash-former-local-comic-shop-guy and I have an official offer in as of today, just waiting for a response. 😬 Also I would like to note that I am forty-six entire years old so I am more than ready, it's just taken a lot of work to get here as a single person who's the poster child for "Some College".)

     I might get a house

     It only works out because my job is on the edge of the suburb-exurb boundary and pays suburbs money and I'm moving to a small Appalachian town but

     house.
