I might get a house

It only works out because my job is on the edge of the suburb-exurb boundary and pays suburbs money and I'm moving to a small Appalachian town but

house.

(It is a little townhouse with baseboard heat and window-unit AC but I will be able to keep my cats without having to lie to a landlord about them)

@BeAware Some folks on my server were having this problem earlier but it seems to have resolved on its own -- all I did was check mastodon.social to make sure my server was federating properly and before I could check anything else they were in. I'm using MastoHost for hosting if that helps, but it seems to be intermittent/temporary.

@Mrfunkedude Even on my moderately-small instance, I tend to think of the Federated timeline as "drinking from the firehose". I only really use it when my poor neurodivergent brain needs a big, fast-moving stream of content.
