     @Waldbrand here is the extended logic:
     they think that no amount of destruction of an "inanimate object" warrants someone's death.
     
     But a person can destroy a car, a house, etc. They can do an amount of damage that their labor cannot make up for. If they are repentant about it, that might be one thing, but attitudes like this cultivate a culture of unrepentance. This is civilization destroying.
