     @anemone @Tony this is all in a radius of 15 minutes from the apartment I grew up in. Suburbs in Norway are different from rest of world being the less populated country compared to land area in world. Taken with a iPhone 3g so pretty terrible quality

     @Diceyocean@annihilation.social @Tony@clew.lol most suburbs in the US don't have much in the way of woods, just endless housing and strip mall sprawl. if you want woods you have to go to an actual rural area. or live in a city which has nice parks. There's a nature park a quarter mile from me

     @Tony@clew.lol i grew up in a rural area, have lived in the suburbs and now live in a city. suburbs are the worst of both worlds

     @anemone @Tony I also grew up in suburbs in Norway. Even though everything was woods and small mountains and very beautiful the suburban environment with the kind of people that lived there and peculiar personalities that you will find in suburbs I must say it was pretty bad
