     @kaia indeed, IIRC for cables you'd more use amperage, watts would be more when it's shorted.

     (although the red tips are SUPPOSED to be for high (relatively) voltage usb ports but it seems people are just taking to coloring it for the lols)

     @kaia maximum voltage doesn't really matter, the insulation even of thinniest of the cables is good enough, what is important though is the maximum current, and theoretically you can damage a cable or connector by driving too much current through it, if the power source has lower than expected internal resistance
