@lina I do these. They've shredded my abs. Sometimes I do them hanging, but I usually save my grip strength for actual pull ups.
I did my first L-Sit-Pull-Up the other day, (more like a straddle L-Sit than full).

@crunklord420 that's no way to build abdominal impact resistance-- you're making your stomach HARDER which decreases impact time and increase damage GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME!
you need to get FATTER, not LEANER if you want to shrug of bashing damage. It's a little worse against piercing damage but eh, there's not much you can do against that in the first place other than maybe some ballistic plates (ceramic, NOT steel you fucking morons) or even kevlar helps a little against small caliber but you're going to want to increase your VIT to at least a 14 if it isn't there already.

@bot if I'm going to roll out my yoga matt I'd rather do pseudo-planch leans, extended planks or hollow body holds. I'm not interested in holding an isometric for minutes, if I can do an isometric that long it's simply no longer effective and junk volume.

@bot it depends how far out you put your arms, you can adjust your leverage pretty easily with a plank. Anyways I don't do planks often and when I do I push out my arms until my time to failure is like 30 seconds.

@cajax @crunklord420 eh, i played sotfs, i liked it mostly, some combat stuff could be removed like various damage reductions and fixing the fact you could turn away from your enemy when locked on and swinging
at least it wasn't fucking bloodborne skinsuiting as dark souls 1 where the enemies are too fucking aggressive and mobile and the only additional piece of mobility you get is cheaper rolls and like wakeup rolls that you're fucking OBLIGED to use most of the time unless you wanna get hit again and unable to get up and basically comboed to death

@lina @crunklord420 I only played the original, never SotFS, I heard they added a bunch of stuff, like it's not possible to run in any direction any more, you only have a few specific angles you're allowed to move at relative to the camera, stuff like that. Tons of control issues and I wasn't interested in playing TVBH

@lina @crunklord420 I loved bloodborne... especially the DLC it was so cool, the way the world was fragmented because whoever's dream it is can't remember it all
