   I don't remember if I've specifically mentioned this at any point in the last 20 years but I think "git rev-parse HEAD" is a really crap thing to have to type

     @mcc I tried looking up the man pages for that command and I swear none of those words were in the Bible

     I honestly *still* don't understand what it does.
