@newt @gray @captainepoch yeah you either need to buy it from a package forwarder (it's on amazon.jp too) or some ebay seller charging markup

it's worth shooting a roll it's like proimage if it had more than just "washed out colors"

@gray @captainepoch just did that too. Also threw a roll of Ortho and 3200 each into the mix.

@newt @captainepoch Yeah that ISO capability is awesome. I've just never bought it before.

I need to order some more HP5 so maybe I'll get some XP2 as well.

@gray @captainepoch technically it's not even a BW film. It's developed with C-41 and has three layers, just like a colour negative film would. The difference is that there is not colour dye, all layers react to every part of the spectrum. You can also shoot it at anywhere between ISO50 and 800 without pushing or pulling in development.

I'll definitely buy more of it.

@djsumdog @gray @captainepoch @newt yeah i was at the blink festival the artistic installations sucked ass as usual with modern art but i was using it to fuck with 800 iso film, a tripod, and a camera with a mirror lockup program.

cool. Cincinnati use to have some really amazing music festivals (Midpoint Music, Clifton Heights Music fest). They were cheap and I'd often spend waaay too much on CDs. I've heard they've kinda gone to crap though. I lived there for ~3 years, but it was a while ago.

I do miss the music nights at Fountain Square though. Thanks for the photos. They bring back memories.

@djsumdog @gray @captainepoch @newt I've seen hipster dipshits moving into the gentrified parts of town, I overheard one here talking about life in seattle and how it used to be better. Especially Northside, it's a dumpster these days.

Meanwhile most of the people who were "normies" were just at the show to look at the lights, go yeah that's cool, and get hammered as fuck regardless since they didn't care about anything else.

Also rental scooters are lobotomized as shit and I got to see it firsthand, they were always in a no-go zone or you could rent it and hit one fast meanwhile the CHADS who bought a Ninebot or similar could ride anywhere.
