@nugger well it's definitely a look. tough to pull off depending on climate. It's cold here so I think pinterest females are on to something with the whole "scandi" or "japandi" styles and I like wood anyway.
@WandererUber THE LANDFILL PART IS ACTUALLY NOT MY CONCERN I'D JUST SOURCE RIVER ROCK OF DIFFERENT SIZE IT'S THE EPOXY POUR THAT'S A LOT OF EPOXY AND THE OLDER PLASTER VERSION HAS TO BE THREE INCHES THICK AND SITTING ON A SAND PILLOW? THAT'S A BIT MUCH FOR RESIDENTIAL PURPOSES
@WandererUber MAYBE IF YOU'RE BUILDING RIGHT ON TOP OF A SLAB OTHERWISE WHERE CAN YOU PUT IT? IN THE BASEMENT? THAT'S AN EPOXY POUR, YOU'LL STINK UP THE HOUSE EVEN WITH FANS
@nugger river rock this or that they advise you to put old bottles under your feet for the color effect. Not my style!
If I wanted a stone look I'd probably just tile it. way more welcoming than this stuff. I think the euros make their houses from brick instead of sticks so they have slabs even on the upper floors sometimes.
@nugger funny guy that fella not convinced on the whole recycled thing "yeah you know how you have all this gunk laying around. just mix it with a few pebbles and pour a bunch of plastic goop over it" Bro is walking on a landfill 💀
someone recommended me terrazzo for residential flooring. I don't buy it.
