   @tinker why did you post with such bold optimism that this is something you could figure out without any prior knowledge?
   
   The amount of time it takes to go from planting to harvest is LONG which means you only get to learn from your failures maybe a couple times a year, that's it.

     @feld @tinker Might take a few years to get it right.
     
     Just to follow up on this. It took me 3 years to nail top shelf cannabis. 4 years to master oranges, 2 for blackberries after 5 with blueberries. 12 for peppers. Depends on plant for difficulty.

     @SlicerDicer @tinker as soon as you start getting offshoots on the wheat your crop is pretty much spoiled because you'll have a mix of unripe and ripened wheat berries so now you gotta figure out how to sort them all
     
     or you just feed it all to cattle I guess

     In the last 12 months, beef was the largest export from the LA and Long Beach shipping ports.

     @Jonny @SlicerDicer @tinker Is that exporting the final chapter in the story or is it just exporting for processing? Because there were accusations about shipping overseas for processing and then have it shipped back, but some later articles have refuted it
     
     Regardless under Trump we signed some agreements with China that they'd get a lot more farm exports but I haven't looked at the specifics

     Watch this YouTube clip. This guy loves the shipping industry. He shows beef being the number one export too Asia but processed doesn’t even make the top ten of imports.
