   OMG, did the Mets dose of destiny finally run out? That’s right, sports fans. It’s all destiny until it isn’t. Welcome to reality. Happy to see it. <grimace>

   Los Angeles Dodgers vs the New York Yankees in the World Series. If you were ever going to believe these things are fixed, this would be like exhibit No.1. Like it was designed in a lab somewhere in Cooperstown.

   On the other hand, who cares which of these teams wins outside of their home cities? Surely, not I.

     @WarnerCrocker It’s funny how long the playoffs take when your team is out. “They’re still playing? This isn’t over with?” We’ve already moved on and they’re still at it.
