I absolutely feel this, but it's also really obvious that, at least in the culture local to my array of fedi feeds, there's a point of clearly demonstrated pain or trauma that others don't feel comfortable interacting with.
And I'm absolutely not saying people are obliged to - while I'm in the support structures of a few fedi friends and vice versa, I certainly don't have the ability to be that for everyone, and I scroll expressions of pain in silence, too, sometimes.
And from the opposite side, while I don't tend to post cry for help stuff (not least for this reason), I have an alt that does trauma art sometimes, and there's definitely a certain category of shared trauma that people in general absolutely do not know what to do with or how to approach.
In that case, I'm explicitly making are that is designed to make people uncomfortable (and also horny. It's a whole stylistic thing, anyway).
But I've seen people who were Not Okay be left to their own devices, and
while it's comprehensible and reasonable
it's also why almost no one here will hear about it if I'm Not Okay
