   @ErikUden musk managed to keep up the pretence that he was an eccentric rocket man who was a bit of a knob, but had his heart in the right place for a long time.

   His descent into open fascism was quite late.

     you may not believe this, but back in 2018 (I was 14) I was such a huge fan of Elon Musk my sister gifted me this for my birthday. This was one year before moving to San Jose and meeting people who actually work for him, or experiencing his absolute meltdown over people not coming to work for following pandemic rules.
